Whoo! It's my last weekend in Texas. I went with my dad to watch Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. It was pretty good. I prefer the book, but the movie wasn't bad. Normally I'd have more to add, but I'm not a spoiler. And this movie is too popular for me to say any more about it. Still, it was fun to watch it with my dad :)

Right this very moment, I'm watching Bones and taking stock of little items around the house I need to track down and box. I've been slowly shifting through my stuff throughout the week. Ended up donating a bunch a clothes to Good Will and about three bags of books to the local hospital. I didn't know a person could do that. It was my dad's suggestion. Man, those little old ladies at the volunteer desk looked shocked. I don't think they were expecting much. Sci-fi fantasy might not be their cup of tea, but I've endured long waits in a hospital. I'll take a book over a magazines any day. 

You know, its amazing how much crap a person can accumulate in a year and a half. Holy Crap! I watch a lot of dvds. Good thing they're smaller and easier to move. Well, they are kind of hefty when they're boxed up, but at least they don't take up a lot of space and they're lighter than books. Got most of them taken care of. I just gotta box up my books tomorrow. I hope I got rid of enough stuff, I don't want my jeep all full up. It's a long drive and I don't wanna be uncomfortable. I get the best inspiration when I'm in the car. Probably cause my mind just wanders while someone else drives. Maybe I'll be able to save Baz by the time I get to Washington ^-^ I got all my stories and images backed up so that makes me feel better too. 

I think the first thing I'm going to do when I get back is head up over to Deception Pass. I would love to see the ocean again. I miss the smell of it, the breeze that's always there, and the sound of the it as it rushes up the shore. My whole life, I've always lived by the ocean. It's weird to be land locked. My dad lives near a lake, but that's not really the same thing. I can't wait for temperate weather. I'll be able to jog again! Yay!

Holy Crap! Flash Gordon and the Monster Squad are coming back to dvd! I was wondering when those two would make it back out. The Monster Squad has been out of print for forever! Finally! Both movies are totally 80's camp, but they are damn fun. :) I heard the Sci-Fi channel was doing a tv show version of Flash Gordon. Kind of leery about that. Not that I wouldn't give it at least one whirl. On the other hand, I don't think it's possible to beat the Queen sound tracked version. Nope, I just don't see it, plus the guy looks kind of...well, puny. Gotta give it the benefit of the doubt I suppose. Well, my brain is semi-tired now. Time to go to sleepy-ville and dream about well, whatever really. It's not like I'll remember in the morning. Night all.
